The 360 has outsold the original Xbox and that says something for a company which has only been in the console industry 2 generations. At least give MS credit, they're making profit on every 360 sold and they have an amazing attach rate for games. I've never owned a 360, but I had an original Xbox. I appreciate MS's part in the console industry.
I tried Monster Hunter Freedom Unite on PSP and I just couldn't get into it.... Maybe I should give it a chance on Wii, but it seemed so repetitive and mundane. You cross through the same areas repeatedly just to track down beasts to kill. The animations were poor and I was just not satisfied with the game.

Frankly I don't recall the media or anyone else saying Uncharted 2 would be a sales flop. BTW I just finished it yesterday afternoon. I got to "Road to Shambala" but never finished it past that part where you discover those creatures are just disguises. Great game! I have to replay to get the trophies for specific gun kills and treasure hunting.
Well, I think my 8800 GT could work... I'm not sure though because I haven't played PC games in a couple of years. I did just install STALKER Shadow of Chernobyl and that runs on max, but that's an older game.
I'm trying to say that there shouldn't be piracy. Even if you have financial circumstances you should still pay for what you play. There is no excuse for theft. I'm not saying the guy can't afford it, but I've heard people say "I'm can't afford all the games coming out"
I don't really think it will appear on PS3. I do like Sam Fisher and the Splinter Cell series, though. This game, along with ME2 might persuade me to buy a 360. I've played some of the games at a buddy's place, but I might just have to break down and buy my own system.
I owe $18k in student loans and about $10k in other debts and I still can afford to purchase every game and song I use.
I don't think Team Bondi, the developer, has released anything mindblowing which would indicate that L.A. Noire will be anything special. The Getaway was less-than-stellar, averaging 77.48 on Gamerankings but went on to sell around 4 million copies... I dunno, I am not expecting anything special with this game. I could be pleasantly surprised, though.
Unfortunately, this will not dissuade any other pirates from cheating the system. Piracy will always be rampant and result in lost profits because people are too cheap to buy their entertainment. If they want free entertainment, they should go to a library and check out some books or watch TV. Sorry but I am disgusted by the piracy numbers these days for music, movies, and games.
